De Ridder has published over 250 scientific articles, more than 30 scientific book chapters, and several articles for a broader audience. His main research focus is understanding and treating phantom perceptions, such as pain and tinnitus, using non-invasive neuromodulation.

Dr. Sandra Bastos is an otorhinolaryngologist specializing in otology and otoneurology, areas focused on diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as hearing loss, sound sensitivity (hyperacusis and misophonia), tinnitus, and dizziness. She has extensive experience in these fields, especially after training at several institutions in Brazil and England, see CV and Lattes. In addition to providing clinical care at her office in Moema, São Paulo city, Dr. Sandra Bastos is also Director and Coordinator of ISBO – Sandra Bastos Institute of Otorhinolaryngology and ISBO Courses.

The Sandra Bastos Institute of Otorhinolaryngology annually organizes the Zumbido Summit to discuss issues related to Tinnitus, Hyperacusis, and Misophonia, giving lectures and talking about solutions that can bring better quality of life to patients suffering from these conditions.

      What is the Zumbido Summit?Organized by Sandra Bastos Institute (Instituto Sandra Bastos), Zumbido Summit is a scientific meeting that brings together specialists in Tinnitus to discuss solutions capable of bringing better quality of life to patients who suffers daily from tinnitus. The event features renowned speakers from Brazil and abroad, providing a high-level exchange of experiences.

        I can't travel to the event location, can I participate online?We will soon release ticket options for online participation.

        Does the event issue certificates?Yes! The Zumbido Summit 2026 issues certificates to all participants, proving their participation in the event!

        How do I get to the Zumbido Summit 2026 venue?The venue has a covered parking lot with 1,700 spaces, in addition to other parking lots in the region with over 5,000 spaces. Taxis and Ride-Share Vehicles: Access via taxis or ride-share vehicles can be made at the pick-up and drop-off points on Avenida Nações Unidas, 12,551 or via Avenida Engenheiro Luís Carlos Berrini, through Arizona Street. Public Transport: Berrini Station, Line 9 – Esmeralda (CPTM) is located 500 meters from the WTC Events Center. The area also has several bus lines heading to the North, South, East, and West zones.

        Can I cancel my order or edit participants?Order cancellations will be accepted up to 7 days after purchase, provided the request is sent at least 48 hours before the event starts.
